We are an infant/toddler center serving families with infants 2-24 months.  We seek Qualified Early Childhood Educators. Growth is expected!

CURRENTLY HIRING:  Assistant and/or Teacher.  Must have at least 6 ECE units. Part-time 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with the potential to increase hours Summer 2023.

Your Role

All team members endeavor to be resources for children by observing and listening to children closely. In this way instruction is designed by taking child-direction: teachers, assistants and aides use the children's organic interests as a platform to plan and implement their interactions with children, materials and curricula.

It is our goal to compensate our teachers and support team. At SR Rise and Shine Early Childhood Educators are confident and proud of the field they work in. 

Requirements:

• Infant/Toddler Teacher, have completed at least 24+ semester units, or equivalent quarter units, of early childhood education or child development core classes from an accredited college, university or occupational program. Must include core and 3 infant/toddler group care units.
• Infant/Toddler Associate Teacher 12+ ECE units (includes core). Must include 3 infant/toddler group care units.
• Infant/Toddler Assistant 6+ ECE units
• Aide a minimum of 6 ECE units.  Must be at least 18 years old. No experience necessary! Must be willing to enroll in Child Development courses and participate in professional development opportunities. We will train.

Those with additional education and/or a degree in ECE or Child Development will be given special consideration.

Applicant must be open to learning and growing professionally. We require training and updated certification for all staff in First Aid, CPR, LiveScan (Fingerprinting). Necessary before hired to work with children in our program. We can help make this arrangements if not already completed. Reimbursements will be provided after 90/days of successful employment.
