Meet Miss Cary!
Cary earned her degree from Santa Rosa Junior College with a double major, in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. She holds a Site Supervisor's Permit from the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Cary has 33 years' experience in the early child development field. She operated a childcare home, alongside her husband, Josiah, from 1990-2017. She has been our Executive Director since our inception, April 2, 2018.
In 2022, Cary was selected as a new California Director Mentor where she assists other program administrators when they face challenges.
Her office is located at our Montgomery Village center. She oversees all of the day-to-day operations of our agency and administers our childcare payment assistance fund.
Meet Mr. Josiah!
Mr. Josiah has been in the early childhood education field since 1990. He has his master's degree from International Seminary and has served on Sonoma County's Board of Mental Health.
He is currently working on his PhD in Natural Medicine with an emphasis on the effects of nutrition in child development.
Josiah completed the requirements in the area of Early Childhood Education and earned his Teacher’s Permit from the State of California Commission on Teaching Credentialing.
In addition to his daily duties as the Director of our Junior College District center he is a certified First Aid/CPR/AED instructor and provides these services to our community.
Meet Miss Lorielle!
Lorielle is an HR professional with over 15 years of HR experience across a variety of industries. She has her BS in Business Administration with a focus in HR management, and is a Certified Professional in HR Management (SHRM-CP).
Lorielle will bring her service mindset and passion for helping others to Santa Rosa Rise and Shine as she encourages our team to bring their best selves to work.
In her free time, Lorielle enjoys cooking in her instapot, cold brew coffee, and working out. She loves spending time with her daughter, Addy, and their puppy Winston.

Meet Miss Maia!
Maia has many years of experience in the ECE field and will bring that expertise to our program as our staff trainer. She has earned the respect of her peers and colleagues as a genuine leader and looks forward to the exciting challenges of cultivating a cohesive team across our agency.
Miss Maia is also our family intake coordinator for our childcare assistance payment program.
In her spare time, Maia enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid dog lover.

Amanda is a student at Sonoma State University. She will complete her bachelor’s in early childhood studies with a concentration in development December 2023.
She loves to read, hike, and watch the sunset. She has a passion working with children and seeing them develop.
In her spare time, she loves visiting new coffee shops and trying different types of coffee.

Rachel is a student at the Santa Rosa Junior College. She is studying to get her Associate Degree in Child Development before transferring to a four-year college to pursue a degree in psychology. She hopes to go into the field of child psychology after graduating from college.

Rachel first started working with children as a mother's helper when she was 7 years old before becoming a babysitter at age 13 and then a nanny at 18.
She has experience working with children aged newborn to 12 years old. One of Rachel's favorite parts of caring for infants and toddlers, over the past 7 years, has been watching them learn, grow, and discover the world around them, and she is grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a part of this process.
Things Rachel likes to do in her free time include hiking with her dog, doing art such as painting and drawing, knitting or crocheting, and going to the beach.

Meg has been a nurturing caregiver her whole life, as an older cousin to 11 and older sister to 2, one being 14 years younger.
She has spent a total of 6 years as a nanny, and also volunteered as a tee ball coach.

Her journey in childcare began more than a decade ago, having had the privilege of interacting with children at various developmental stages. Through this fulfilling journey, she has honed her skills, nurtured her passion, and embraced the joy of helping children thrive.
Miss Jenny is a certified Associate Teacher and is committed to continuous growth and learning in the field.
Beyond her professional commitments, she finds solace in spending quality time with her cherished family and friends. Crafting has always been a source of delight for her, and you'll often find her knitting or creating intricate designs with her trusty Cricut.

Ian is a very active member of our community. He is the founder of Operation Blanket, a charity that works with agencies serving our homeless neighbors.
Ian is a recent graduate from National Holistic Institute (NHI) where he received his massage therapy certification.
Ian is the youngest of six siblings. He has eleven nieces and nephews. He has worked with young children as a youth leader in his martial arts training and as a Junior Lifeguard at a local swim center.
Ian loves all things, Marvel. He enjoys experimenting in the kitchen as well as watching various cooking shows.
Ian adds great value to our program as a 'big brother' with our toddlers. His gentle and kind spirit is a quality admired all.
Meet Miss Catherine!
You will ocassionally see Catherine at morning drop-off. She helps us during the morning transition. Her calming presence is just what's needed and all the babies love her!
Catherine is the mother of two little girls. Both of her daughters attended Happy Time Preschool, next door.

Miss Catherine holds her Associates degree in Child Development and previously operated an in-home daycare specializing in infant care.
Prior to her experience as a daycare owner she was a nanny for over 13 years.

Jessica has multiple years experience as a nanny for infants as well as managing multiple care-givers for families. She has studied Child Development at our local Junior College and is the mother of 3.
We'd like to introduce 'Bear'!
Bear is our pup 'mascot'. She is our four-year-old, very friendly, Labrador Retriever that has a mellow disposition (somewhat uncommon for a Labrador).
She will not be interacting with the children but she may, on occasion, be an ever-present-observer!
She will welcome petting and may return the favor with do
